RATA – Relative Accuracy Test Audit

Relative Accuracy Test Audits (RATA) compares data from a facility’s Continuous Emissions Monitor System (CEMS) to a simultaneously collected reference method test data in order to assess the accuracy of the CEMS readings. CEMS permanently installed for selected processes, such as on power plant stacks, require initial and periodic quality assurance audit tests to ensure that they are functioning properly and reporting emissions accurately. RATA testing involves two parts – a flow component and a pollutant component

Greentelligent Technologies is capable of performing flow RATA using the highest-quality EPA test methods, Greentelligent have QSTI certified partner from USA to perform RATA test.

Greentelligent Technologies’ RATA Testing:

  • High-quality flow RATA for flue gas,
  • Fully compliant with the 40 CFR Part 60 Appendix B requirements,
  • Precision equipment to prevent over-reporting in the presence of swirl,
  • Expertise to address any issues encountered during the audits.

Typical parameters monitored for CEM RATA test programs are:

  • Oxygen (O2)
  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
  • Carbon Monoxide (CO)
  • Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx)
  • Sulphur dioxide (SO2)
  • Stack Gas Velocity
  • Stack Gas Volumetric Flow Rate
  • Stack Gas Temperature
  • Stack Gas Pressure
